My artistic journey started when I was very young. I found myself obsessed with drawing cartoons and caricatures. Throughout my school career I was always getting in trouble for drawing in class. I felt I was better able to focus on the lectures as long as I distracted my eye . My artwork however, never matured from the classroom. I had stepped away from it for a while upon joining the Marines. After exiting the military, I found myself stepping into an uneasy world with worries of the pandemic. riots had broke out all over the country. this really made my transformation from military to civilian rather difficult. after feeling a bit lost amongst the chaos, I decided to return to drawing. Allowing me to release my thoughts onto paper, It provided me with a sense of tranquility. Turning those thoughts into a visual for me to further analyze. Eventually the drawings turned into cartoons on Adobe illustrator. I started playing in new genres of art, like collages on photoshop or painting on a canvas. My mission now is to keep exercising the creative process that I’ve built from an early age. With time, I hope to be able to utilize more complex softwares to make completely unique pieces.
